- To
spur middle grades school improvement throughout the South, the
Southern Forum has convened key school, district, and state education
leaders; higher education; education organizations; parents;
business and civic leaders; and others interested in middle level
education. In addition to each state having up to five members
on the Southern Forum, we are also assisting states in the formation
and strengthening of their own state-level forums in our combined
effort with the National Forum to drive reform to the school
and classroom level.
